*Position:* Mid to Senior Level .Net Front End Developer Any Experience with OLD classic ASP is MUST!! *Location:* New York City, NY *Duration :* 6 + Months * * *Duties & Responsibilities* - Develop company websites and internal applications. o Enhance and company websites and other internal applications as required by internal clients using .Net and other technologies. o Ensure appropriate testing is executed to ensure delivery of high quality applications to internal customers. - Maintain Websites o Maintain site on SQL 2008 server and Windows 2008R2 environment. o Ensure that the websites are performing at optimal efficiency. o Collaborate with the Infrastructure group on patch management and security updates. o Ensure adequate documentation of processes. - Document Requirements o Collaborate with internal clients and develop specification documents for business functionality enhancements and new project requirements. - Change Management o Participate in the Change Management Committee and ensure compliance to Change Management guidelines. o Ensure that regressive testing, UAT's, deployment instructions and roll back plans are completed to ensure a high level of service delivery and compliance to the SDLC and Change Management requirements. o Summarize the impact, risks, implications and cost of recommendations. Skills & Abilities - Strong working knowledge of the following programming languages; C#, Transact SQL, AJAX, SQL, JavaScript, XML, CSS, XSLT, DHTML, VBScript, HTML. - Strong working knowledge of the .Net framework; ASP.Net, ADO.Net .Net Class Libraries and Web services. - Proficiency with Microsoft SQLServer databases required. - Proficiency with MySQL databases a plus but not required. - Strong working knowledge of Visio, MS Project, MS Office, Visual Studio, and Visual Source Safe. - Proficient with IIS. - Knowledge of Content Management Systems desirable.
