Hi,
I'd asked before about timeout on nonblocking request but after failing to
understand what I'm doing wrong I went to the most basic sample and test it.
For my surprise it didn't work either (adding
messageReceiver.invokeOnSeparateThread to service.xml doesn't work) so I
think it could be a bug or maybe problem in the EchoNonBlockingDualClient
sample. Here how to simulate:
1. Download and installed axis2-1.4.1 war on application OAS server ( I also
have the same problem on jboss)
2. change
axis2-1.4.1\samples\userguide\src\userguide\example1\MyService.java to take
more than 30sec i.e.
public OMElement echo(OMElement element) throws XMLStreamException {
try {
Thread.sleep(35000);
} catch (Exception e) {}
...<old code>...
}
3. compile and copy sample-MyService.aar to axis2\WEB-INF\services
4. run client.
after 30sec the client get timeout exception:

As far as I understand a dual non blocking request should never throw a time
out exception, so what is going on?
