it is. i.e memory leak, heap/pergen memory settings, lucene bug, bug in the way the code is interacting with lucene. We have been looking at this problem for months now.. We dont index xml files with xalan. Kind Regards Adrena Ke

you tell me where to look to see what the current memory allocation is? i.e what configuration file? And is the Ram Directory been fed from the overall heap memory allocation or has the Ram Directory got a seperate memory allocation? Kind Regards Adrena Keating
