Has anyone ever used a file generated with Terragen
on Genesis with java3D and if you have can you explain to me how you did
it-including the loader you used.
OpenGL support is fine in Win98. It completely depends on your video
card. Modern cards like the GeForce cards have excellent OpenGL
support.

I installed the DirectX 8.1 and when I tried executing HelloWorld I
receive a error message telling me that I should change the video mode.
OK I changed it to 16 bits and the programm ran.
In any way, the perfomance was very poor so I installed the OpenGL
version of J3D.

I run out of memory with my 2MB video card in one of my older machines.
Usually just displays black where the 3D is supposed to be. My newer machine
works just fine.

2 MB Video card? That's a bit old. Try putting in a slightly newer
video card. (A GeForce 2 MX with 64 Meg of video memory is less than $90
these days).
I'm surprised you get that error though as Java 3D will even run on my
"ancient" laptop without any hardware acceleration.
