And another question is, when (or under what conditions) bugs are
evaluated?
I'm not sure if I understand your problem
Hi Kelvin,
That's it :)
The bug-description is EXACTLY what is my problem.
Thx great for your patience and your help (i see, my descriptions were a bit
confusing ;).
The sad part about all that is, as i feared, there is no workaround (the
customer workarround is'nt satisfactory, its even impractic
Hi Emanuel,
The previous reply is based on the code in the mail. I didn't
go back the archive and search the original email.
Here is from the original email:

Hi Kelvin

I switched from Kawa to JCreator and I'm very happy with JCreator
(latest version seems to have some annoying bugs though). I've tried
Codewarrior, Forte, Netbeans, Visual Cafe, etc and I prefer JCreator
over all of them.

What kind of surfaces are you working with? Can they be described by simple geometric
primitives, such as spheres, etc.? There is much information about these types of
intersections (just search under google). Often the problem can be reduced to
computing the plane of intersection, then clipping
Hi Emanuel,
The workaround and new API apply when several
behaviors wakeup EVERY frame. i.e. several behavior
use wakeupOnElapsedFrame(0) and we need to order them
appropriately.
However in your case there is two behaviors,
wakeupOnElapsedTime(10) which postId(0) to trigger another

Hi all,
I checked the archives and cannot find anything on my problem.
So I am re-posting my mail. I am only asking for some directions
on how to go about dealing with my problem.
I have two surfaces A and B that intersect. Surface A pierces
surface B and protrudes into the volume bound by surfac

We use KEO's ProView XL35 but any HMD would work as long as you can get
two images to their two screens.

I have managed to install an IDE (NetBeans),
j2sdk1.4.0_02, and Java 3D 1.3 and successfully
compile some of the simple Hello3d type examples in
the tutorials.
When I run them, I get a Java window, but it is black.
No visible Cube or Sphere (depending on example).
I don't have the faintest idea

Hello,
Java3D demos and other J3D-programs didn't work with either DirectX and
OpenGL versions of Java3D 1.3 on j2sdk1.4.1_01.
There is "gray" (it is background color) screen instead of Canvas3D view.
There are not exeptions or warnings with OpenGL version and there is
"Invalid screen resolution"

I use for simple projects the JCreator. It's easy to use, fast because
C-written, cheap and small (about 5mb).
For GUIs i use Forte and this works very fine too.

I have recently gone over to Forte- when I looked at it a year or two back it was
slow, bugged to hell and almost unusable. The new versions with 1.4. work much more
quickly and smoothly and most of the really clanging bugs are gone. It has the form
builder stuff but you can just ignore all that
Hmmm, I've not tried the trail version since 5 was released but they've never disabled
any features in the past, at least not on the Windows versions.

I did give a try to work on omnicore on linux, font looks horrible and
trial version had no editing facility ( tried 3 months back, don't know
about the latest).

My all time favourite (with no annoying GUI tools :) is Omnicore CodeGuide, it's cheap
if you're an academic/student and I find the best text editor of all I've tried. They
have a 30 day trial (30 actual days of use not 30 days from install).
