Create a BranchGroup for each of you ColorCubes

documented in Keith Rule's book "3D Graphics File Formats".

Object.
Perhaps you might try saving your trueSpace objects
as Wavefront Objects *.obj.
I've done this for Poser and 3D Studio Max and it
works well.
