Yes, this is right. However there is an unreleased version of DirectX 5 for
NT (which doesn't have a setup even, but you can find it on the net
everywhere else but MS's site :)...

direct hardware access (DHA) which is impo
Theoretically any video card. The best are the ones with native Open GL
hardware acceleration.
