I've been trying to monitor the position of various objects as they are interpolated.
I figured that in that way, you could perform checks before the position of the object
is updated.

It's fairly easy to change, but wouldn't it be more convenient to have them asseparate methods, since one may wish to check the new position before allowing the view port to move (e g preventing collision)?
