Search Sun's website though and there is no mention of JOGL (for ANY
platform). Search the web for JOGL and there are some obsolete (1997)
references that I assume are something completely different.
It's hard to get motivated to switch to a different technology that Sun
doesn't appear to be back

I am not waiting for Java3D on OS X. It will never happen. I also was
told that there were no Solaris, Linux or Windows Java3D
presentations at Java One.
I am waiting for JOGL on OS X.

This is all second hand information of course, and gives little insight in
