finally I found the solutions to my questions. I write them here, because they can be
useful for somebody.

recently I upgrade Java3D version to 1.1.2 (beta, directx, Windows)
and now setAppearance does not work.
My Code with the Version 1.1.1 (beta, directx, Windows) works OK.
My question: Is this a bug? or I forget to do something with the new
Version?.
Also, I use MouseZoom (from com.sun.j3d.
