I just installed Java 3D 1.2.1 JRE and SDK versions on my Solaris
machine here to verify that README.java3d.solaris.txt is installed in
both cases.

The SDK installer puts the README into $SDKHOME and $SDKHOME/jre. The
JRE installer just puts it into $SDKHOME/jre.

Just for fun, I tried the SDK installer on both $SDKHOME/bin/java
and $SDKHOME/jre/bin/java. It does exactly the same install in
both cases, as expected.

I am using J2SDK 1.3.0_01 for Solaris/SPARC.

Are other Solaris users missing the README file?
