Hi everyone, My first post! Before you read: I'm fairly proficient in Java, but not in 3d programming. I'm new to this post and hope I'm not submitting a question that has already been answered (I searched the archives and found nothing similar to my question). I'm trying to develop an approach to solve a problem dealing with Real Time OS's, Java and OpenGL. I've been looking at Lynx OS (http://www.lynuxworks.com/) which is "Linux Compatible". I don't know for sure, but I suspect there is a JVM that will run on Lynx. I found a manufacturor who makes OpenGL graphic accelerator cards for Lynx. All the pieces to the puzzle are fitting together for me except one: has anyone tried to install the linux version of the 3D API on Lynx OS? what about Bluecat? If anyone can help to determine if such an approach is feasible, possible, or whatever, I'd appreciate it.
