I have been seeing alot of things in the java group about FCS release. What
is it? and How can I get a download of it? I was told it could fix a bug
involving detaching branch group from a "live" scene.

I have some code that relies fairly heavily on being able to modify the
scene graph live at run time. I've run into a rather sticky problem that
I think is a bug somewhere deep in the bowels of java3d.
Basically, I have a large, fairly complex BranchGroup which I wish to
remove from the tree. H
An accelerated Java3D course would be great. I think that some good base
knowledge of Java and 3D graphics (transforms, projection models, etc)
should be assumed, otherwise the rest of accelerated stuff would be hard to
understand anyway. (For those who are not familiar, perhaps an intro to 3D
