128Mb should be plenty. We're running a pretty big j3d app on
Win95, WinNT, and Solaris. We haven't had to use the ms/mx options
yet ourselves...

I had this same problem a while back. It turned out that the OpenGL
drivers for my video card where old, and simply updating them fixed the
problem. My card is a 4MB STB Riva 128, and I was running Java3D
Alpha3/Beta1 and JDK1.2 Beta4 at the time. You should be able to find some
other idea

Using JDK1.2 and Java3D 1.1 on a Windows 95 platform, I get this memory
error.
Any ideas?
