Speaking of interviewing, what do people think about group interviews?
I love them!
- As an interviewer. You get to see how the candidate fits into the
group. You get to see responses to questions you wouldn't have asked
on your own. You get to follow up on questions asked by others. You

I, too, disagree with the OP. The lunch is the funnest part of the
interview, both as an interviewer and as an interviewee. It's already
been mentioned that it helps to see how everyone clicks as a team. If
anything, it is less stressful, not more than in the office
environment.

Hi Fabrizio,
While I use Michael Bushe's EventBus in Swing, It really isn't Swing
specific and can surely be used in a webapp. Michael is planning to
separate the concerns fully in 2.0.

I programmed in C for 15 years, skipped C++, and have been programming

There are the myriads of libraries in Java that keeps you from

But the main productivity drain that you have in C and likely C++ is
the time spent debugging. It seemed that I

There's no room for the date in the notification area. It's great
having the time there though! If you want to see the date, pull down
on the notification area--

In episode #231, Dick suggests that speakers can take their talks to a
local Java User Group. This is a great idea since user groups are
always looking for good speakers whether they will be presenting at
JavaOne or not. In particular, I'd like to see *your* talk at the
