Yes I definitely have Angry Birds installed. I didn't think it was in the background, but I can't be 100% certain it wasn't. I had a quick look before nervously power-cycling the phone. Yes, that would seem to fit the pattern although I don't remember seeing angry birds on the app list, which was quite short as my phone was turned off most of the day... I do have some ad-backed applications on the phone, but I prefer to pay for the good ones where I can and remove the others... O
