Hi all.
I am trying out the new voices with the Say All command. I still notice the
problem with speech stopping before it finishes reading an email. Of course
it did that with Eloquence also. Sure would be nice if they could fix this
problem.

Sarah,
I don't really think it's a Jaws issue. At this point I'm thinking it
might have something to do with our video settings.
If I figure it out, I'll be sure to let you know.

In the near future I'll be placing a copy of print folder up on the programs

If the scripts are in your user files folder, you won't lose them. A repair
only affects the contents of the shared files folder, never the user files
folder. If you're really worried, copy your user files folder to a temporary
folder somewhere on your C-drive.
However, I don't think
Okay, here's how to get what I think you want (a list of all the files in
your My Documents folder):
1. Open Start Menu.
2. Press P to open the Programs submenu.
3. Select the Accessories submenu and press RIGHT ARROW.
4. Locate Command Prompt and press ENTER.
5. At the Command Prompt, type cd "
Ok. should I repair jaws/ I really don't want to do that as I have spent
some time trying to write some scripts and I really don't want to loose
them.

Well, it doesn't completely make sense to me, Mitch. Do you want a _list_ of
the contents of your My Documents folder or do you actually want to convert
whatever files are in your My Documents folder into text files? I think you
meant the first, but it's not totally clear. If you did mean the f
hi all. I am looking for a program that will take my documents and convert it
in to a .txt file so that i could let every one know what stuff i have to shair
with some other lists that i am apart of? my documents has a lot of sub
folders in it and so i would like those to be converted in to.txt
David, I think the SAPI voices are very user friendly. I'm using Karen
right now and I also like Daniel. I just happen to like these British
voices. They are nice and clear and crisp.
I hope others out there will try them.

guess 65 items on my desktop isn't really a problem but now I have access to

Hi Walt
Tried to use your instructions and when I checked the sappy voices,
jaws stopped talking. Did it twice with same result. Would I see a list of
sappy voices if they were on my computer.

Hello, Patti;
first?
if your going to remove a program from your computer, you want to have the
program closed, otherwards, not running.
now, I am not familiar with the program in question, however,
if you did a reinstall, first, go to the systemtray, and see if you can't close
the program fir
Hi Marilyn,
If I'm not mistaken, there is a desktop clean-up wizard, which you can use
to highlight the stuff you don't want on your desktop, and the wizard places
them into a folder on your desktop called deleted desktop items or something
like that.
