I hadn't tried it in MS Word yet.

the temporary book mark in I.E.

In IE, you can do a control shift K to put a place marker where you left off
in your reading. Then the next time you go to that page, just type the
letter K and it will cycle you to the different place markers you have. You
can also delete the place markers whenever you want to.

This really saves time and effort in I.E.
I assume the place marker will stay in place indefinitely.
I wish the MS Word was as easy.
