Hi,
I wanted to ask people. I have jaws9 installed. It wont read messages
that I have composed but jaws8 will.
Is there a fix to this for Jaws9? I don't want to have to switch all
the time back to jaws8. 9 is so much easier to use with vista.

Thanks for your help!

I looked at your sight, I don't do well on sights.
From what I heard I happen to use jaws,I added your sight to my favorites.
Hopefully I'll be able to spend more time on it.
So far I like what's there.
Hope to talk to you again.
Good luck with the sight.

Hi,
Quick look from over here and it seems fine too (using JAWS), and I
had a look at the source HTML and that all seems fine and standard (I
work as a web accessability tester/consultant amongst other things).
The only couple of points I can think is that strictly* speaking

Hi;
this has happened to me, and I actually found it quite amusing. I just
used the hot key to reply to the message and read it without sending
it. It worked just fine. On some of the UK sites, it will read in
Brittish. In the JFW config manager, there is a language detection
option. I
Hi:
I have been having some of the same problems, but I'm wondering if there
is a program running in the background that's interfeering with JAWS.
On Sundays, we back up my system onto an external hard drive. While the
back up program is running JAWS does this on a continual basis. I've

At times when you receive updates it will lock up.

Hi,
Have you tried to access any firewall settings or any of the options in the
Norton Protection Center (or whatever it is called in the 2008 version)?
I would like to upgrade to the 2008 version, but I am concerned about the
accessibility with Jaws. If you can access the options with the Jaws
To my knowledge it is not!
That is why I am going to avg pro.

thanks, I'll give it a try. I didn't read the complete thread before
replying because the messages were coming in as I was doing so. Maybe
now I can make corrections the the subject and to fields now. It's hard
to do that when JAWS won't speak.
Thanks so much.

For now, try doing it from MS Outlook instead. This works a lot better from

Hi,
Is it possible for you to access any of the settings in the program? For

Actually I was just looking at this right now.
If you turn on your Jaws cursor, you can left click on any of the options

There isn't any access with menu bar or applications menu, but the jaws
cursor puts you right where you need to be.
I just ran live update and system scan
