I have not been following this thread in detail. however, if you are using
IE 7 the Auto-complete Settings group is in the Content page of the Internet
Options. (From the general page, that's ctrl+tab twice to the Contents Tab,
then tab around and you will find the AutoComplete Setings
Flor is right.
I believe, autocomplete address setting used to be in the advanced page in
IE6.
