I am really starting to love Firefox; it runs so much lighter than IE.
I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but every time I tab to a
new link in Firefox, JAWS says "read only" before announcing the link. This
can get kind of annoying. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Also, has a

Firefox works without any plugins as long as you have JFW 5.0 and Firefox 1.5. I

Hi:
When composing or replying to emails, JAWS will act like there is a (forgive the

Hi, all,
I am in the process of determining whether I want to switch from using IE to
Firefox. I seem to remember hearing on a Main Menu episode that there was an
accessibility plug-in for Firefox. Can anyone tell me whether it is helpful
and where I can find it?
Thanks in advance,
Erin

While at the dos prompt, type, cd.. and press enter. Then type it again and
press enter. (Note the two periods after the cd). This will put you back
at the c:\ root directory.

Hi,
I am having a problem. I use Jfw 8.0 and whenever I read something with say
all, announce caps using say all always seems to be on even when I shut it
off in the verbosity.
What should I do to get it to stop doing this? Also, the real speak voices
have not worked for a long time.

When typing the cmd command in the run option, how do you make sure you are

Don't you want version 8.1 which has the most up-to-date adobe conversion
program?

Vicky, The latest version of Adobe Reader is I believe version 8, and works
pretty well with jaws 9 at least for me. Have a look at the adobe website
and it should be there.
Cheers.

What is the best version of Adobe to use with JAWS 9? I have Adobe 7
installed, but I'm having some problems with it, and it says there are no
updates. I know that's not true, but I can't find the best version to use.
Thanks.
