Hi List:
You can get a dongle from FS for authorization. I frequently use different
PCs that do not have JAWS on them. I just carry my USB dongle and my flash
drive with portable JAWS on it.

I didn't expect that the service would be free but if the charge is

Hi all,
some time ago I updated Adobe reader to version 8.1.2.
I am not able to read many PDF manuals that I used to. When I load a

JAWS supports all of those. Although for people with NVDA I'm not

when you need to log off the computer it could be erased from the machine.

Hi Victor,
I called Freedom Scientific and the only way to get the authorization number
is to call them with your serial number and they will look it up for you.
Their phone number is 1-800-444-4443. I hope this helps.

JavaScript is normally enabled by default. However, one thing that I
have noticed is that if you start JAWS while an Internet Explorer window
has focus then JavaScript will turn off. This can be avoided by having
JAWS launch in sta
Hi, Google Desktop allows you to search for files on your PC. If you're using
Vista, then you have a search facility already there. If not, then just use
the Windows standard search facility. Not sure about the other two, sorry,
