I personally would go with Avast Home Edition (www.avast.com) This is free, very accessible once configured correctly, however it will not perform automatic scans, except for those you schedule for boot-time. I personally don't mind that though as I remember to scan every week or two. Hope this

Avast is good too. I like in avira, that it knows many viruses, and destroies it, if it founds. But in avast, it knows not so much viruses, but the heuristic is good, and if skins are disabled, very accessible. And you can send, the heur malware viruses, to anilyse, to allwillsoftware. I like
