Hi!
In my opinion, Avira is the best choice.
But by configure, I recommend you the following:
Go to system tray.
Select avira, and press enter.
Select configure antivir.
Check expert mode.
Select from the tree view scanner, and tab, if you arrive:
file scanning is extended, go twice up, and
I personally would go with Avast Home Edition (www.avast.com) This is free,
very accessible once configured correctly, however it will not perform
automatic scans, except for those you schedule for boot-time. I personally
don't mind that though as I remember to scan every week or two. Hope this
Avast is good too.
I like in avira, that it knows many viruses, and destroies it, if it founds.
But in avast, it knows not so much viruses, but the heuristic is good, and
if skins are disabled, very accessible.
And you can send, the heur malware viruses, to anilyse, to allwillsoftware.
I like
Yes. This bug has been fixed with JAWS 9.0.2169. For now though, unload
JAWS, start AVG, then reload. Alternatively, give Avast a try. Hope this
helps.

Hi Tim,
While I realize the actual location of the placemarker in relation to the
information you place the placemarker on is subject to change, the actual
placemarker, as outlined in the original post, does not disappear
altogether, as was the initial problem replied to.
I realize, and it's
Cool. IT should say in the AVG interface below the menu bar.
HTH.

Hi,
I believe there's something in advanced settings that will update
automatically every so often. To access this, go to the AVG user interface
from the context menu you went to before, then press alt t for tools and up
arrow and enter for advanced settings. You're now in some weird treeview
Hi,
Make sure you have the latest jaws update. To do this, go to your jaws
window or context menu and select help, check for updates.

Actually it did say that, but that was all, butI've got it sorted now, but
when it comes to the update of AVG, I may have the same problem, but
someone's coming to get it sorted. You've helped tremendously though.
thanks.

Yes it works perfect, I am using it with 7.10 without problems.
On the other hand, I have tried instaaling firefox 3 twice now, because
everyone said it was great and I wanted to also try webvisum.
Problem is FF3 cloeses every 2 to 3 clicks. It just quits all the time. So I
