I scan them into a word document for these have order numbers and item
numbers which are Overdue and this process is extremely accurate.

antivirus had been updated when I booted my machine up, but it's not doing
that any longer. I deleted a virus that it detected a few weeks ago and

Generally speaking, extracting files, refers to unpacking them from a
compressed archive.
In some cases, simply copying the files in the archive, won't work properly.
In your case, it worked fine, and you got Narrator running.
