itself. if you have Open book, Kurzweil 1, or some other recent OCR
program, open the pdf with that instead. After a while, the pdf will be
converted into readable text with that program.

Unfortunately, the program's name says it all, PDF to OCR. it will only
read PDF files. I don't know the link, but you may be able to find it if you
google the name of the program.
