there is a feature in jaws Version 9 which enables the screen reader to give
some detailed information about the number of inches from right and left inside
microsoft word documents. I am really irritated by this and I wish if any one
can tell me how could I stop this feature.

i have this problem whit jaws and outlook express.
when i open o e, jaws is seeing my messege twise and i doe no why.
however when i change users it is seeing those mail ok.

Yesterday, I was doing something and heard Jaws tell me that Add ins was
disabled. I found Add ons, but not add ins. Would you all please let me
know as to where I can enable Add ins? I am running XP & Office 2002 Home,

I had a similar experience with I think it was 7 and I ended up using
sighted assistance and literally removing all things jaws from my hard drive
and starting with a clean install.

I believe it's something to do with the display settings in XP about menu
shadows and all the other weird effects that you get with XP by default.
Don't remember where to change these though. Probably somewhere in control
panel/display.

Perhaps, in a perfect world, the "forms mode" sounds are unnecessary.
Personally, I find them reassuring! One example for me is in Firefox 3.0.3,

though this was supposed to have been corrected with replacements.) My own

You need no scripts, it is working fine so too, even you check all update
settings in the settings.
