Hello listers,
I set my laptop keyboard to laptop settings.
But now I found that I cannot use the CAPS LOCK modes on/off feature, which

Is there other way to use the CAPS LOCK mode in laptop settings?

Annette,
Microsoft Project will do what you want. It works marginally with JAWS, but
you can create your data tables with Excel and import/export them. I have used
it to create many work flow / ghant charts.

Thanks for the idea of using a spreadsheet or table. Unfortunately, I am
having to analyze the flow of information of all of the services performed
through our office, and then determine what data is currently being
collected, what data we are required to report, and what changes we need to
make.
I too do not know of any way of reading flow charts but I always recommend
that when organisations create flow charts they use a simple table
alternative as well. If the flow chart is simply hierarchical this can
simply be represented in a table which Jaws can read , announcing the number

I am guessing that what you see in the list of headings is presented in the
order of how the headings are put into the code, not the sequence they
appear on the page. I'm only guessing about this, so I hope someone else
jumps in and provide some more light on this.

I just looked at headings on Yahoo and am now yet more confused. If you
make a headings list, the headings are not following a numeric sequence as I
had thought. You will see that they jump around a lot. From the previous
posts, I thought that someone was saying that they had to be accessed in

I did not upgrade, but just installed the new version.
But I can affirm that Office 2007 can handle all my old files in Word and

Well, somebody must have said that it was actually 'broke' in the past, due
to the
'incorrect' navigation between headings as alluded to earlier.

I have done reinstallations where it repairs jaws so I assume it would repair

Ah, shouldn't fix what ain't broke. They'll be getting my two cents about the
issue, or in this case the "fix". Least they could do is have a toggle for that
function so one could turn it on or off.
Some of the greatest inventions come by mistake and I think this is one of them.
