Hi Friends!
Does any body have any experience with WordPerfect X4, or WP14? I just
installed WP x4 to try how it works with JFW10 but I'm disappointed.
Jaws doesn't
say styles, pages etc., and I didn't find such items in the verbosity
when you press ins+v. And the main thing, jaws also doesn't
Hello,
Every time I try to connect with a link in an Email message, I get the

What has happened and what do I need to do to correct it?

Sounds like you installed Google Chrome and it's your default browser. You
can probably remove Google Chrome from Add or Remove Programs (Programs and
Features in Vista or above).

Hi,
Sticky Keys are a part of Windows that allow keys that would normally
be pressed together to be pressed one after another. For example,
with this feature on, you can press the shift key, followed by a
letter, and that letter will be entered in uppercase.

Hi
I believe sticky keys is a situation where the computer is set to delay
how long it takes to respond to a key stroke.
Personally, in my case it refers to the amount of chocolate on the key
board. No, I am just joking about that last one. Smile.
God bless,

Vista is quite a different animal so far as it's volume controls are
concerned. There might be a program out some where that will do what you ask
but I have not come across one as of yet.

Hello Karen,
The best thing for you to do if you've by now managed to turn it off, is to
go into the control panel; to the accessibility options; Sticky keys are the
first first option there; there's a checkbox; if it's checked, uncheck it.

When you adjust the main or wave output of the sound card. it will
effect all programs unless those programs have there own volume controls.
The only way around this is with 2 sound cards. Then you can use one

Hi
I bought a USB sound card and would like to use it for the music and other
computer sounds, while using the built in card for JAWS. How does one do this

Thank you for your help.

If it works the same way in Vista, you have to edit the Jaws.INI file.
Here's an example of what it looks like. You'll have to personalize it to
your system.
[Synthesizers]
Synth1Name=eloq
Synth1LongName=Eloquence for JAWS
Synth1Port=SiS 7018 Wave
Synth1Driver=eloq
Synth2Name=NoSpeech
I've been told from a number of people that this doesn't work under Vista.
Can you or someone else comfirm that this does work?

Hi All,
When in the file menu of Word, at the bottom of the menu list, right above
the exit choice, there is a list of the last 4 documents that I have opened.
How do I stop these from showing in the file menu?
When in the Views menu, there is a selection called Markup . What does
this do?
Oh thanks I will look for it. Karen

It always asks you to confirm that you want to turn sticky keys on. You can
confirm this either by pressing the spacebar or by pressing enter. If you do
not want sticky keys on after pressing the shift key five times, just press
escape or use the arrow keys to find the cancel button.

Thank you for these good hints. Karen and found that these are unchecked
thankfully on the control panel. Karen
