When you adjust the main or wave output of the sound card. it will effect all programs unless those programs have there own volume controls. The only way around this is with 2 sound cards. Then you can use one for main control of all programs that don't have sound controls. And the other to

It always asks you to confirm that you want to turn sticky keys on. You can confirm this either by pressing the spacebar or by pressing enter. If you do not want sticky keys on after pressing the shift key five times, just press escape or use the arrow keys to find the cancel button. -
