Do you use firefox? There is an option under options in advanced options (accessibilty). Once there disable (if marked) the field where it says 'search for text when I start typing'. It may have to with that when you hit enter it catches the auto complete address and not yours. In other words,

Hello Karen, Uninstall your google toolbar in the add and remove programs option under control panel, if it's installed. You can also uncheck the use inline autocomplete option under the advanced tab via internet options. Your problem is not related to the content menu or web page history.

Did you try to remove IE 8 using the Add or Remove Programs option on the Control Panel? If not, and you simply performed a System Restore, this may explain the problems you are experiencing with IE. Check Add/Remove Programs to see which version of IE is actually installed on your computer.

I believe they are having problems finding add/remove programs? In xp the control panel is under setting in the start menu. Hit the letter a until you hear add/remove programs and enter on it. Arrow down to what you wish to remove and go to the un install button and enter on it. RJ -
