David,I don't believe there is a hot key automatically assigned to JAWS when
installed, so unless you have assigned a hot key I believe you will have to
use Narrator in order to turn JAWS back on or another option if you have
JAWS set to automatically start when the computer loads up then you
Hello Josh and David,
Sorry, but this is incorrect.

have nothing else on the desktop starting with a j, pressing that letter
when on the desktop, will select jaws and you can then just enter.

It is a good idea nevertheless to create a shortcut key for JAWS when
you install it, so that when it's been unloaded you can indeed bring it
up with one key combo (such as ctrl-alt-j).
it also may take a little time for JAWS to load up, whichever method is
used. Another method is to use the
Yes, use control plusalt key plus the j key at the same time. In about 10
or 15 seconds after you press that key combination, you should hear the
message, jaws for windows is ready.

Albert,
I don't know any way of getting Office 2007 on 2 computers legally
without purchasing two licenses.
It is possible to buy a multi license copy, but that is still likely to
cost more than 2 licenses.
The trial version that came with your computer may be the cheapest way to
go for that one.
Sorry about my previous failure to change the subject line.
Albert, my response is under the subject line of JAWS Users list.

Hi David,
If you can't find your application key or your keyboard doesn't have an
application key, go to the Jaws 6 Icon on your desktop and press the
keystroke Alt + enter. This keystroke will put you into the shortcut
properties dialogue box. Hope this helps. Take care.

The reason it doesn't work is the fact that you have more than one version

you have scripts for this application at one time? I do not see any such
