network was re-configured, causing a temporary loss of network
connectivity. JAWS still worked after installation; it didn't block it

security holes that would otherwise leave them vulnerable to malicious
threats. So even though you might still be able to update Avast 4.8 with
the latest virus definitions, the program itself may not be completely
secure
If an older version of the software will support
the latest virus definitions, there should be no problem.
For the end user, the real problem occurs when the program interface becomes
unusable with Jaws.
