Jason, My experience with any JAWS update or new full version release is there is no one answer to your question. Each system is unique and some folks have problems and some don't. My suggestion is to do the update and then work through any issues encountered. Al -Original Message-

Thanks for this information. I'm running a Win7, 64 bit system and have been afraid of downloading the update due to the problems I've been hearing everyone is having. I will continue to not download the update until I hear from someone that it is safe for those of us running 64 bit systems.

You have the option of going to Freedom Scientific and downloading the full version and yes that is my suggestion. From the JAWS window you download only the patch or update which ever you wish to call it. The advantage with that is that it is much smaller than the full version so it takes less
