You can now OCR a screen in JAWS13, looks really useful.

picked up the text but I can't seem to achieve the same results again.
Does anyone have a list of the key strokes, I am pretty sure it is

Instructions for using the OCR feature are located in the help menu.
After bringing up the help menu, arrow to What's New and you should find
some instructions for the OCR feature under What's New.
I haven't used this feature yet so I can't offer any other help.

Thanks Steve, I will check it out.

I have had this problem since OutLook 2007 with JAWS 12. I close the
message and open it back up. Because I have my settings set so that when I
open a message the header is read, when JAWS does not read it, I know that I
will not be able to read the message. So I immediately press Escape to
Under the view menu and reading pain it was set to off and I put it at
right. For some reason when I had it on bottom, it was not reading.

You can perform basic functions such as using e-mail or writing a Word

David,
Jaws 8 will not function well with any version of office above 2007 because
of the ribbon menu display. Although it's possible to grind your way
through that kind of menu, it's much easier with versions of Jaws that have
the adaptation for reading Ribbon style menus.
