Remember how we used to press control+alt+delete in order to bring up the task manager in Windows XP? Remember how simple it was? No having to tab around to the task manager button, no worrying about if your speech was going to be killed off as soon as you pressed that keystroke? Well folks,

[JAWS-Users] Windows 8 Consumer Preview and JAWS 13?

2012-03-28 Thread Grant Hardy
Hello all, What would happen if I were to attempt to use JAWS 13.0.718 with the Windows 8 Consumer Preview? Would JAWS simply fail to install, run, and work properly? Or, is there some functionality that an experienced JAWS user might be able to tame and work through? All the best, Grant For

Hi Grant: There's a good and bad side to this. If you upgrade, from Windows seven to eight, with Jaws already on, it will still work, just it will yell at you because of not having a mirror display driver installed. If you do a clean install however, Jaws will not, install at all on Windows
