Brad,
You don't have to physically print the document with Kurzweil, but it will
probably take about 5 minutes from the moment you open it in Kurzweil until it
has completed OCR conversion of all 165 pages, like when scanning.
It will use your default scanning settings and you could open it wit
There's also an eject option in the context menu when you're on the
device/thumbdrive you wish to disconnect.

Have you tried copying the text to the clipboard and pasting it into a Word
document. I've had success with documents up to a hundred pages. Also if
you have a recent edition of Open Book, it will read PDF files.

In Windows 7, I open the list of items in the system tray with Jaws key and
f11. If you have a thumb drive connected, Safely Remove Hardware will be in
the tray. Choose it and press enter. Choose the drive with the thumb drive
and press enter. When you get the message that it is safe to remove
Good luck with that, Brad. I don't like the way Adobe handles largish
documents, it seems to choke and take forever. You can go into preferences
and tell it to only convert portions of the document as you go.
If you have a few Benjamin's lying around, avail yourself of Open Book or
Kurzweil.
Is anyone familiar with the Cloud based Microsoft Office 365 product and its
compatibility with JAWS? Is there one version of JAWS that works best with
it?
Thanks,
Annette

Yes, I have that problem again since the latest update. No solution that I

Norman,
I have always wondered that myself until one day when I did just that with a

Robert,
This is the easiest way I have found to make sure that a jump drive is ready
for removal.
1. While the jump drive is still connected, open the Computer option.
2. Now arrow down until you hear that particular drive mentioned.
Important! Do not open the drive.
3. Press the App
Got it, thanks.

Depending on the version of JAWS and the version of Windows Live Mail, It

Hello list members:
My friend uses Windows Live Mail. When he starts typing an e-mail address
into the To field of a new message, JAWS jumps into another field and says
