Others might disagree with me, however, I think it is relatively
accessible-with JAWS. not sure what others think, but I have been happy the
times I have used it.

I have reserved my copy of Windows 10 and I'm going to choose to let it
download, but just because I download it, doesn't mean I have to install it
yet. That is the nice thing about it. I guess I could try and cancel my
reservation, but I'm not sure I can do that now. Thoughts?
Thanks,

Hello,
It does work fairly well. The only thing I don't like about Chrome is
its menu structure. It is not the most intuitive. As well when you are
in the Menus it will not tell you if there is a sub-menu. You have to
just hit the right arrow to see if there is one.

Hello,
I just recently purchased LEASEY Advanced myself due to the sale. I am
finding it to work well. I like the LEASEY Select features myself. I am
also looking forward to the improvements in version 2 which is due out
sometime this month. I have not delved into many of the features yet
I agree, the menu structure could be better.

What is it and what benefits does it offer?

Hi All,
Has anyone used LEASEY with JAWS? I'm considering buying the advanced
version while it's on sale. I really need the clips feature as the Office
clipboard seems to wreak havoc on the Braille display. I used these before
in JTools and really liked them. I just want to know if there are
I just tried to purchase Leasey. However, I keep going in circles.
Secondly, I forgot my PayPal password, no matter what I try it does not
work, when I tried to change it there is a CAPTCHA with sound, however, I
could not understand the letters or remember them. Some days I truly hate
computers
Hi,
I was looking at the documentation as a preview to possibly purchasing
Leasey. I thought FSReader should be able to see the DAISY books
(daisybooks2) which comprise the manual, but it wasn't. (I was hoping to
choose FSReader to read DAISY materials other than JAWS training, but
instead,
You will probably have to force a shut down on the computer by holding the
power button down until the computer shuts down. Then try unplugging the
power cord from your computer, and if it is a laptop, take out the battery.
Now press and hold the power button for about 8 to 10 seconds, to drain
Well Chrome has been around for several years now, I don't remember when it
launched, but I would think that FS should now be making some programming
that would make it as easy as IE or Firefox, not that I favor Firefox all
that much. Still, I think it has been over five years, the program seems
The answer to that is, sort-of.
Firefodx (its nearest accessible equivalent) generally is better than
Chrome. But, in certain situations, using Chrome can solve forms problems -
where items are not seeb accessibly by FF or IE. If you like speed, on one
level you'll get it with Chrome.
Hi Philip,
1. After pressing, Alt + t, for tools, the letter, O, for options, I land
on, Options.
2. Arrow down 1 time from, Options, to, List Box edit, press enter. You
will go into forms mode.
3. Arrow down to the Option you want to work with, press thePC cursor key,

Hi.
Can someone explain how to navigate the options menu of Firefox v38 or 39
using jaws 16?
I keep getting stuck in the general dialog box.
It looks as if the menus of ff v38 and above have changed from the way they
acted in ff v37 and below.

Hi Mike, Thanks for that.
Now my other query. Can FSReader 3.0 open a DAISY book (it is probably
non-audio) folder? JAWS will read all in the files. (Where the files are
.SMIL or HTML.)

I had Chrome for a few hours - bye bye. Neither my husband nor I liked it at
all.

Tonight I was at a meeting where I brought up the free window's 10 for OS 7 and
8, this was not a group of blind computer users.
A discussion began on the fact I said it was free while they stated it was
free, but you had to also pay $99 per year for a maintenance fee for the
software.

Hi List,
I am looking at up grading my old 21 year old HP Laser Jet printer to a
colour Laser Printer-Scanner and wondered what ones work with Jaws and have
buttons and not a touch screen?

I also had not heard and I read what is news when ever it comes. FS just did
a 9 minutes podcast on what we will need to have for 10. They suggest that
default need to be IE and that we need to have an email program as default.
I think I got that the email in 10 is not accessible. If I am wrong
just what i figured, you can't tell sighties nothing. they think they have all
the answers, go ahead then and pay for something you don't need, lol

You know the thumb drives the NFB gives out,
Well half of the T Drive are in .smil format and I could never view it,
So I would just delete the T Drive and give it away.
Now, I'll change how jaws reads different formats.

Hi
In Windows 7, open the start menu and type file association in the search
box. Several choices will appear. The one I have used is change the file
type associated with a file extension. Just find the file extension you
want and then press enter on change program. Another of the choices is
