So, I did a repair on the current v16 hoping that would put back the
activate searchbox (ctrl e) keystroke. It did not work. It looks like I
will just have to bite the bullet and uninstall and reinstall jaws
unless somebody has another idea.

First have the cursor somewhere inside the table.
If you are using a ribbon menu, then tap separately in sequence Alt,
followed by a, followed by v followed by b. This will convert the table to
text.

I did exactly that but activate searchbox kept getting changed. Then as
I stated when I deleted the insert f12 keystroke the activate searchbox
keystroke got removed and I now want to get it back. The insert f12 was
unchanged.

since solving a problem I had with Goldwave, the updated scripts for
goldwave 6.15 don't make the expected announcements that the older
