Thank you for this clarification. I have asked for and received "admin rights"

Don't use C cleaner.
I quit using it a few years ago, did not like all the removing and cleaning
of registries.
This did just as you say, when starting up certain programs you have trouble
with them.
Just my opinion.

If it were me, I would not mess with the registry tweak to w-10.
I don't understand what all the fuss is about.
When you use the quick start feature of w-10 you come to the log-in screen
in about 10 seconds, who cares about any windows sounds.
This is not important, does not effect Jaws, does not
Hi Kimsan,
Below are steps for saving cookies you don't want deleted when running
CCleaner. These steps are old & I haven't used them in quite a long time
but, give them a try. Or, you can uncheck the cookies option in, Internet

I thought I would share this offer for great anti-virus protection and more

I already bought mcafee registered total protection and installed it on both my

Hi Jim,
You can run CCleaner without running the Registry cleaning option. The
Registry cleaning is a totally separate cleaning function. When you runn
CCleaner it only cleans what it is told to clean in the settings, & this is
a separate process than the Registry cleaner.
Take care.
