I believe it was easier for me to go to win10 from 8.1, because I already
knew about the concept of the universal apps, and files explorer more the

Hi Tom,
I would say W10 is not that hard to use. Things are just in a little
different places in W10 then in W7. Like I said in a previous email if you
join the W10 group and listen to some of Jim's audio files it will make the
learning curve way easier than just going on your own. Just by listenin

Hi Ed,
I have been using Windows 10 exclusively now for about six months. As
another list member mentioned, transitioning from Windows 7 to Windows 10
will present you with a learning curve. However, once you become familiar
with Windows 10, it is, in my opinion, much more stable and user friendl

Thanks for all the tips on how to do the search in MS Word.

Hi George,
I have been using W10 for about four or five months now. It is a little
different than W7. I learned a lot from being on this Windows 10 and Jaws
group. On this group the owner Jim has I think around 49 audio and text
files on how to do things in W10. He has text files on how to install
Karen, I think you mean control-f rather than alt-f, right? I just tried your
method. Unfortunately, I've assigned control-alt-y as my Firefox shortcut, and
to my surprise, it overrides the MS Word 2010 function. I don't know why, since
my control-alt-I shortcut for IE is overridden by MS Word 2
I'm not sure what versions of word this works in but, I know it works in
2010. Do the alt f thing and put in the word or phrase you want to fine and
enter. When it gives you the first instance, hit escape. Then, you can do

You're very welcome, and thank you for coming up with this program to help
folks install their scripts. For convenience I put up on the server for
people to download as well. Not the most recent version as of yet, but in a
few minutes.
I'm sure it will get a lot of hits or so I believe.

I've dabbled a bit with Windows 10 and find it somewhat different.
I'm sure in time it will grow on me.

Hi:
Those of you who are running Windows 10, what is your impression of it? I am
still running Windows 7 and get messages from Microsoft all the time about
installing Windows 10. Do you find that Windows 10 is as easy as Windows 7?
Thanks,

I'm thought of releasing before adding any new feature, just because I think
its feature is enough to do that, and I'd like to have an article for this

I remember that spacebar tip now that you mentioned it and I also remember
thinking it would actually put a space in your document which it didn't.
Thanks a million!
