I'm not seeing a problem here with Office 2007 and JAWS 2018. Hope you get
it resolved soon :)

JAWS pronounces "putting" through my Dectalk Express synthesizer consistently,
and not as "patting" nor the way golfers do. So the culprit here seems to be
Eloquence.

I'm finding this is an increasing, although inconsistent, problem with JAWS
2018 and email. What usually works is the alt commands, e.g., alt-5 (above the
letters), with the 5 pressed twice quickly, to put focus in the subject line.

Dear friend, let me tell you a new thing.
When I saw this email for the first time, my JAWS has pronounced the word
Putting as Patting.
I have checked with NVDA and with narrator and with them the pronounciation was
right but with JAWS the pronounciation was wrong.
Please help me in this regard t

Has anyone noticed if using Microsoft Office 2007 that JAWS doesn't seem to
read a message subject field when you are composing a new one and tab to it?
It reads the field title but not the contents of the subject field unless you
arrow around.

Hi Ted,
if the shortcuts don't work, another way, is with the focus in the items
view:
1. No items should be selected. If an item is selected, you can deselect it
by pressing ctrl+spacebar.
2. Open the context menu.
3. Open the view sub menu, and choose the view you want.

Hi Sandy,
I have been using Jaws for about 18 years, and I have my verbosity level set
to "Beginner".
This way I have the best control over exactly what Jaws speaks.
You can adjust Jaws to your liking with time as you become more familiar
with it.

It would be better if you told us which email client you are using. Never
the less, in windows live mail hit reply and then alt + I and down arrow
