Maria,
If possible, I would see about updating to the latest JAWS 9.0.2169 as
there were other bug fixes, enhancements and features that will make the
experience that much better.
Thanks,
Kevin

Just a note, the INSERT+F11 command (to bring up the System Tray) only works
when JAWS is running. The Window command, which does not require any AT
software to be running is WINDOWS Key+B.

Derek,
Just wanted to inform those who are interested in the jTunes scripts that
provide for a bridge between iTunes and JAWS, it is available through
TT-Consultancy for USD65. I felt that it was important that if prices are
to be quoted that they are quoted correctly.

Have you tried using the Startup Wizard? this was introduced in JAWS 8 and
expanded upon in JAWS 9.
TO bring up the Startup Wizard, do the following:
1. Press INSERT+J to bring up the JAWS User Interface
2. Press H to be brought into the Help Menu
3. Press Z for the JAWS Startup

Stu,
It would be interesting to know if you are able to reproduce this issue
using Word XP, 2003 or 2007. The only reason I am thinking of this being an
idea is because there may be the posibility of this being fixed in one of
hte versions of WOrd released over the last 8 years.
Thanks,

I believe that you are refering to the following sentence, Note: your

Hello
Yes, Skype Watch is like a SKRead for JAWS. This will give you information
about the following (will depend on if these messages are enabled within Skype):
Information about who is calling you;
Information about when someone signs in;
Information about who sent you a Text Message
Basically,
Michael,
I just installed AIM 6.8 Beta 3 and am really enjoying all of the new
features. The one thing that I haven't noticed is the issue that you
described of not being able to use AALT+!, ALT+2, etc. I am running
Windows XP Pro, SP3 and JAWS 9.0.2152.

I think that hse probably did what most companies did and took that email
from past emails or a template of some sort and just sent you that. I am
thinking this because most people don't have the time to write messages
that are that detailed each and every time a question like that comes up.
Lenny,
Unless Iam mistaken, I believe that Windows Live Mail is the Outlook Express
version for Vista. I am using Outlook 2003 and it works great. The thing I
liek about Outlook as compared to Express that there is the calendar, ttask
and all of the other features included.

Tam,
A program that I have been using that works really well with JAWS is
Xilisoft. This program will convert to and from 50+ audio and video
formats. Some of the formats it can convert to are impressive such as, PS3
files, iPhone files, iPod and all of the other common files like Real

it appears that from doing a Google search that AVG Free 7.5 Support will
