I am running a lenovol lap top with jaws and had a problem that well… it’sa
mess. The point is I am up and running again, but the caps lock used to be the
insert key.

Sometimes reinstalling chrome can help. Chrome may have updated again.
For this reason, I keep firefox and chrome on my PC.

I have had this with windows 8 and jaws 14.
My braille display quits as well.
I have a hotkey for jaws and can bring it back that way.
Just a little annoying though.
