Hi Afu, While I don't know absolutely for sure, I don't think there is a way
to read headers & footers except as you have done. I have to both read and
create them routinely, and the only way I can do it is to go through the
view menu. Maybe someone else will have another suggestion.

Hi, I'm an SBCGlobal subscriber who was bounced. Didn't see the original
message about this because I just got back on the list. Thank you - Shari

For anyone who has followed the thread on my Word 2003 problem, I wanted to say
how it got resolved. The problem was that despite verbocity settings to
announce various formatting changes, Jaws suddnely stopped responding to the
settings. Thanks to questions and observations from Annette, I open
lows access to the MS-Word Comments feature. I used to use comments all

Hi All, I'm using Jaws 9, XP and Word 2003. For the last couple days Jaws has
stopped providing some pretty helpful info such as when things are indented,
lists are bulleted, etc. I checked verbocity settings, and indent
identification and announce style changes are both still set to on. Any id
I use Word 2003 and 2007. Both work fine with Jaws 9. with 07, the
conventional menus are gone, replaced by ribbons, so there's a learning
curve involved in getting things done, but it works.

Will turning off "enhanced edit" cause any other changes?

Hi Listers, At work I need to access a webcast. The website suggests using
Real Player 11. From file extensions of webcasts in the archives, it looks like
some version of Real Player will need to be used. Anyone know if RP 11 is
accessible with Jaws 9? Thank you.

Hi Listers, Tomorrow I will install Jaws 9 on a computer with Vista and Office
2007. I looked in Jaws help, and there didn't seem to be any special
instructions or tips for Jaws with Vista. Is that really true? The computer is
a Dell desktop. I don't know any more than that.
Thanks - Shari

Yes, I, too, have this problem. Sometimes the append feature works as it
should; sometimes I get the problem you describe. There doesn't seem to be a
consistent pattern. It's completely random.
