My DVD device and discs are both 16x- but discs are single layer, I think. So would it be correct that I need to drop down to the 8-1x write speed since the only listed 16 looks like it must be for a dual-layer DVD? Sorry if the question is awkward- the DVD writing stuff is all new to me ;) Che
