What version of aim instant messenger works with jaws 17? and where can
i get it? Do I need any scripts for it?

Hi.
I am an old member returning to the list.
I recently got my Jaws 17 home edition which I like.
When I used to use Jaws 15 aim would work pritty well for me. Now with
jaws 17 i'm getting a lot of extra info that is a bit anoying.
Is there any aim client that works well with Jaws 17?

I just installed Aim and I believe it is version 8.0.7.1 and I am using the
latest update for JAWS on Windows 8.1.
There are suppose to be scripts for JAWS to use Aim correct? Where do I get
the scripts and do I have to put them in a particular location? It has been

Hi, JFW 11 works fine with aim 7.2. Have no problems with it. You can
even use face book chat which works really well.

I'm posting this on behalf of my sister. She's running Jaws11, and with the
latest AIM version is apparently having focus issues with Jaws. It won't
read all of the conversation, and when people message her and she goes over
to the conversation, she can't arrow down. These issues also

Hi all. I know I might've mentioned this, so if so please forgive me but it's
puzzling me. For absolutely no reason at all, aim will go from buddy list
window and saying how many I have, to aim, and nothing else. If I route jaws
to pc, I know I'm in the window, but I can't get aim to function
