Hi yes it does the free program is cald kindle for pc and what you
want is kindle for pc with accessibillidey option it uses text to
speech to read the books if it has been inabled. hth. from Mich

book that is not already in an audio format and have your computer read it

There's a free kindel companion software at Amazon so you can buy and then
read the books on your computer. Look around on Amazon. Marilyn

A friend of mine posted his new book on Amazon and Barnes
Nobles. I have never purchased books from either of them. It is
listed as Kindle addition. If I download the book will I be able to
read it with JAWS? If not, is there something else I must purchase
or download to make it
