While very long PDF documents are better left to Open Book, or Kurzweill, the OCR function in Jaws 13 could come in handy for checking out fax pages received by e-mail, and if the fax contains multiple pages, one can OCR the first page, then press control+page down to go to the next page, and

I am not sure if Jaws should process the entire document and read back to us, this is beyond the range or the definition of a screen reader. Yet on the other hand, İ need to add that my mind is unclear about it. Perhaps the time of the screen reading software by its clasical definition is

While it does not fill the needs of performing OCR on entire files, convenience OCR has been long needed. I sent FS this reqquest more than once. I also wrote a JAWS scrippt and later a Visual Basic appluication intended to perforn OCR of a window on the screen. It was based upon the OCR
