the OCR function in Jaws 13 could come in handy for checking out fax pages

screen within the open Adobe PDF file and totally ignores the rest of the multi
page Pdf file. Which means if I need to access the whole doc
where I work they always send me pdf documents that are a picture so it
might be some use.

While it does not fill the needs of performing OCR on entire files,
convenience OCR has been long needed. I sent FS this reqquest more than
once. I also wrote a JAWS scrippt and later a Visual Basic appluication
intended to perforn OCR of a window on the screen. It was based upon
the OCR
