Mcafee is always updating itself in the background.
Their new update for your version of mcafee included a slite change in the
name of the desktop icon.
Nothing to worry about, all is fine.

My icon on the desk top use to say McAfee live safe internet security
and all of a sudden it just says McAfee live safe would you know why it
changed all of a sudden?

No, mcafee does not show up under the toolbar any more.
However, it is working correctly in the background.
Make sure you leave the safe search enabled in IE 11.

Is it possible for McAfee web adviser to work when the tool bar is
missing from internet explorer 11?
I ask this question because every time I take the secure search off as
my default a dialogue always comes up saying McAfee web adviser secure
search is off be careful turn secure search on after I restart your brouzer
and my McAfee tool bar is missing from internet explorer 11.
another question I have is how can I get the web adviser to show in
internet explorer 11 without re downloading the web adviser tool bar?
