What do I do next?

Yes, this is why I used a separate player.
My assumption is that the CD should start playing automatically once I close
the drawer.

I can't get my CD player to work.
I can listen to an audio CD on a separate player, but when I try to listen
to the same CD on my PC, it doesn't seem to work.
I'll put it in to the appropriate drawer and the appropriate drive appears
with the tracks list
