Estelita, What you are seeing is that your messages have been grouped into conversations or threads. When a 'conversation' is collapsed, you can expand it with the right-arrow, when you will see more of the messages in that group. (Conversation groups together messages under the same or related subjects.) You presently have group messages by conversation checked. to uncheck it, from the message list alt-v, then right-arrow into current views submenu, and then arrow up to view messages by conversation, and then press enter.
